Serving Opportunties

Small group leaders build relationships with 8–10 kids by showing up weekly and using provided activities to help them learn who God is and how he wants them to live.

Greeters welcome families to each small group room and guide parents and kids through the check-in process.

The Special-Needs team provides a caring environment where children with special needs learn about God’s love for them.

The Guest Services team warmly welcomes first-time families to the church, guiding them through the registration and check-in process.

The Production team creates a weekly kid-focused service and includes the following:

  • Singers lead kids with energy and enthusiasm to worship God with music.
  • Stage hosts capture the attention of children by bringing fun and excitement to the service.
  • Stage communicators tell the Bible story in an engaging and unforgettable way.
  • The Tech team enhances the service with stage management, sound, lights, graphics, and video.

The Hang-Out team makes it easier for parents to serve by providing their elementary school-aged children with a fun place to play games, do crafts, etc.

Where do you need the most volunteers?

Our greatest need is often for small group leaders.

Do I need experience?

No. We’ll train you and provide everything you need for success in your role. The roles of stage host, singer, and stage communicator require an audition.

What's the time commitment?

This varies by role. Our UpStreet staff would love to speak with you about ways you can serve that fit into your schedule.

What's the vision of UpStreet?

Our vision is to guide children to put their faith in Jesus and teach them who God is and how he wants them to live.
